چکیده
Composts of spent mushrooms substrates can be an alternative for the partial replacement peat as growing media in horticulture. Three mature composts from Agaricus bisporus (Ag), Pleurotus ostreatus (Pl), and 70% Ag:30% Pl (AgPl) production were used components media, at a 1:4 compost:peat ratio red baby leaf lettuce. They showed higher yields, between 3 7 times more than that itself, even under pressure plant pathogen Pythium irregulare. AgPl suppressiveness (50%) against irregulare Ag- (38%) or Pl- (15%) supplemented media. The combination these raw materials suitable composting process is important obtaining compost use component peat-based

DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW COTTON WASTE COMPOSTING TECHNOLOGY FOR CULTIVATION OF OYSTER MUSHROOM (Pleurotus ostreatus)
This applicable research has successful selected enzyme Ctec2 from Novozyme (Denmark) which gave the best cellulose degradation activity compared to the other enzymes. At optimum conditions of 50 o C, pH=5 and ratio between enzyme and substrate (E/S) being 0.40%, 0.45%, 0.50%, the time needed to substrate degrade was 60 hours. Based on this finding, a new cotton waste composting technology for ...

White rot fungi (WRF) are known to have the ability to degrade organic pollutants with a structure similar to lignin. Because of this, the degradation of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) congeners no. 28, 52, 101, 138, 153 and 180 by substrate before fruiting (substrate) and/or after fruiting (SMS) from cultivated mushrooms Pleurotus ostreatus, Lentinula edodes and Agaricus bisporus was examine...
متن کاملA simple procedure for preparing substrate for Pleurotus ostreatus cultivation.
The use of wooden crates for composting a mixture of 70% grass, (Digitaria decumbens), and 30% coffee pulp, combined with 2% Ca(OH)(2), was studied as a method for preparing substrate for the cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus. Crate composting considerably modified the temperature pattern of the substrate in process, as compared to pile composting, where lower temperatures and less homogeneous...
متن کاملThe use of spent brewery grains for Pleurotus ostreatus cultivation and enzyme production.
In the brewing industry, spent brewery grains (SBGs) are byproducts with a low economic value. The potential use of this leftover as a substrate ingredient for Pleurotus ostreatus fruiting body cultivation and enzyme production was evaluated. The best substrate mixture for P. ostreatus mycelium growth comprised 30% wheat bran (WB), 68% beech sawdust (BS) and 2% CaCO3. On the substrates containi...
متن کاملEFFECT OF PURE AND MIXED SUBSTRATE ON OYSTER MUSHROOM (Pleurotus ostreatus) CULTIVATION
Effects of Pure and Mixed substrates on nutritional composition, minerals and growth of Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) were studied in present study. Results of the study revealed that the total protein content, ash, crude fiber and crude fat were higher in the mushroom harvested from mixed substrate (23.64, 8.17, 0.90 and 2.93%nrespectively) than that of the pure substrates (21.02, 3.40...
